Prestige N 289, Feb. 2018
He put men in skirt: scandal. He gave Madonna conic supersonic breasts: scandal. He put on the podiums street people and night people: scandal. He played with genres, before everybody: scandal. Only Jean Paul Gaultier could make a…Scandal! And here’s Scandal, the perfume of a free and strong woman. During the day, Mrs the minister is more than serious, her head in her files. The night, Mrs the minister is an intolerable noctombulant, a daring woman who has «files» rather than trailing them under her arms. And here’s two worlds that could have remained distinct…until the day when a certain photo of Mrs the minister flood the social networks…scandal! Gaultier bottles were busts, and here are the legs! The day, it’s a greedy honey and fresh that sent the gardenia and red orange, almost childhood. The night it’s a sensual and extravagant honey associated to patchouli. The perfumer, Daphné Bugey (with Fabrice Pellegrin and Christophe Raynaud) had only one idea in head: to create a perfume that could completely incarnate women.
