Exhibitions and art Festivities

Beirut Art Week animated the capital during a highly artistic week, inviting artists to exhibit their work in different parts of downtown. The Minister of Culture Raymond Araygi inaugurated this great initiative, supported by the Municipality of Beirut and Solidere. Its purpose? Allow artists to express themselves freely in the urban landscape of the capital. And attract a new audience represented by the people of the city, highlighting the historical heritage of the city. Thirty works of twenty three artists have been installed in the streets of old Beirut and the luxury shops of downtown, opening doors of contemporary art freely and fully to the public of all ages.
