Zahle city of wine and poetry holds its first international festival under the name «Oumsiyat Zahle», thanks to the cooperation of the citizens of Zahle, its municipality and other organisms with the collaboration of the ministry of Tourism. Zahle Municipal Park has been chosen as the official festival venue given its accessibility and seating capacity of over 2000 people.
The opening ceremony will take place on August 11 and will be attended by a wide array of public figures. Featuring a documentary on Zahle’s artistic and cultural heritage, the first night will be crowned by a special performance from Lebanese international singer Hiba Tawaji, accompanied by composer and director Oussama Rahbani, who will enchant the audience with an outstanding musical performance.
On August 16, renowned French singer Patricia Kaas will light the stage with her first performance ever in the pearl of the Bekaa.
The festival will end on a high note on August 17 with an exceptional performance by the beloved star, Wael Kfoury, who will be singing for the first time since his career debut in Zahle.
