La ville est devenue moderne, sophistiqu\u00e9e et un important p\u00f4le d\u2019affaires suite au boom \u00e9conomique des ann\u00e9es 1980-90 et une ville des plus visit\u00e9es au monde. L\u2019\u00e2me de Bangkok r\u00e9side dans ses 400 temples bouddhistes, Wats, somptueux et fascinants, o\u00f9 l\u2019architecture est unique avec des motifs en verre et des d\u00e9corations en or. Recouvert de feuilles d\u2019or, il mesure 46m de longueur et 16m de hauteur. Construit en 1782, sa beaut\u00e9 est envo\u00fbtante. Autrefois r\u00e9sidence d\u2019\u00e9t\u00e9 de la famille royale, il demeure aujourd\u2019hui le c\u0153ur spirituel du royaume. C\u2019est un chef-d\u2019\u0153uvre architectural haut en couleur o\u00f9 l\u2019or domine. L\u2019\u00e9difice renferme aussi de somptueuses peintures.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Wat Phra Kaew<\/strong> est le temple qui date du XIVe si\u00e8cle et qui abrite le Bouddha d\u2019Emeraude, l\u2019une des statues les plus v\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9es, sculpt\u00e9 en jade de n\u00e9phrite.
