La 9e édition de Beyrouth Chante Festival a été lancée le samedi 5 novembre lors d’une conférence de presse au Beirut Yacht Club, à laquelle assistait SE le Ministre du Tourisme Michel Pharaon, le Député Bahia Hariri représentant la Fondation Hariri pour le développement humain durable, M. Jamal Itani, ainsi que des partenaires et des artistes participants.
Pharaon a souligné «l’importance de Beyrouth chante et de toutes les activités culturelles pour promouvoir le Liban sur la scène touristique internationale». Il a également révélé quelques parties du plan du ministère pour le tourisme religieux, en insistant sur le rôle important de Beyrouth Chante dans ce projet.
Le festival s’ouvrira le 1er décembre jusqu’au 23, avec 29 concerts célébrant Noël et la saison des fêtes. Au fil des années, le festival aux portes ouvertes est devenu une tradition qui permet à un large public de profiter de la musique et de l’esprit de Noël à Beyrouth.
