A vast scientific study, prepared by the Advertising Association in Lebanon in collaboration with Reach Mass, revealed that VDL, La Voix du Liban, (Sawt Loubnan) 100.3 and 100.5 FM, is the number one radio station in Lebanon, and the most listened to and most widespread among the Lebanese, regardless of affiliations, regions, age groups, and social categories.
The study adopted scientific criteria and precise statistical data, including measuring daily and weekly listening rates, the level of geographical reach, as well as analyzing audience trends concerning news, political, and entertainment programs.
Media professionals who follow the trajectory of Lebanese radio stations attribute this distinction to the long-standing professional heritage that has characterized “La Voix du Liban” for decades, the extensive experience of the station’s Chairman and General Manager, Assaad Maroun, and the vision through which he leads the development process to keep pace with accelerated digital and technological transformation.
The radio station has made great strides in this area by employing the latest intelligent technologies and relying on a work team enjoying the highest degree of professionalism and credibility, including technicians, editors, and program and news presenters.
The study also revealed that the station has succeeded in attracting a diverse audience, ranging from young people to traditional listeners, thanks to its live news programs, political debates, and its coverage of economic, social, cultural, artistic, and sports issues, which has strengthened its presence in the daily lives of the Lebanese as a voice that resembles them and expresses them.
The digital transformation of “La Voix du Liban” and its broadcast via the visible screen VDL24 have also contributed to its entry into the world of digital television broadcasting, via cable and on all social networks, which has increased its reach and influence, broadened its audience base, and strengthened its visual identity in programs and news.
All of this constituted additional elements of attraction that allowed it to compete with confidence and advance to reign supreme at the top of the Lebanese radio scene without rival.
