Moser & Cie. knows that to innovate, you have to challenge yourself. For the first time in its history, the Schaffhausen-based Manufacture has revisited its time display methods to create a new, disc-based system. The mechanism is inspired by the planetary systems that led to the birth of modern, independent watchmaking. Adopting a technical approach that respects the elegant, understated style of H. Moser &Cie., the result is an exceptionally refined time measuring instrument.

Christophe Claret Maestro Mamba. © Christophe Claret

Who’s afraid of the venomous Mamba? Definitely not Christophe Claret, who has tamed its dangerous beauty, the better to reveal it at the heart of the Maestro Mamba in a 28-piece limited edition. The sinuous, meticulously hand-engraved body of the African snake coils around the movement. Will you be able to resist the mortal enchantment of its bite?

Wrapped around the movement, its undulating hand-engraved body creates a powerful contrast between the tangy green brilliancy of its scales and the matt black shade of the movement. Surging from the intricacies of the movement, between the hours and minutes hands, the MEMO function indicator and the sprung balance, the Mamba defies all challengers with its piercing eyes.

Liquid matters. This fundamental truth is the inspiration, essence and driver of the H20. The new watch by HYT offers radical perspectives on time, through mesmerizing 3D transparency, plus a shape resembling a smoothed stone that has weathered time to perfection. It showcases the essential HYT union of art and science, mirrored by the capacity to defy gravity and measure the passage of time beautifully using fluids. This technology joins forces with a mechanical movement in a coherent whole, symbolic of a fundamental, fascinating fusion of time and space. What it boils down to is a unique timepiece that respects, facilitates and treasures the flow of time.

There are two limited editions of the H20, each comprising 25 numbered pieces. Oneis clothed in black and harbors a bright green fluid; the other has a silver-colored case anddeep blue liquid. Their universal design language is transparency, accenting aesthetics and technical detail simultaneously.

Vortex Gamma. © Hautlence

For the Gortex Gamma Tron, HAUTLENCE has chosen a revolutionary composite material hailing from the automotive and aerospace industry: HLLightColor. Charged with ceramic nanotube particles, HLLightColor can be body tinted rather than coated with colour. It can also be made phosphorescent, something which immediately appealed to HAUTLENCE, with the brand using it to accentuate the architectural lines of the case and further underline the references to the graphic universe of science-fiction classic TRON, from which the Vortex Gamma Tron takes its name.

Playing with the contrasts of colours — white for the case and blue for its edges — and light, with the outlines of its edges glowing in the dark, HAUTLENCE pays tribute to the iconic style of TRON.
