Since the creation of Speake-Marin in 2002, the English watchmaker creates in his Swiss workshop high-end watches with their distinctive design. Inside of the Piccadilly case we find here the most utilitarian of all Speake-Marin collections: The Spirit.
The Spirit Seafire is Speake-Marin’s first chronograph. In addition to the chronograph counters with the minute counter at 12 o’clock and hours at 6, this timepiece features a date display window at 3 o’clock and a seconds wheel at 9 o’clock. In 2015, this model brought new color to its dial parrying red, blue or orange and this year, Speake-Marin adds two new dials each in a limited edition of 28 pieces to continue the collection.
For these models, as for the rest of Seafire collection, Peter Speake-Marin was inspired by the British military and pilots watches of 60 years ago to make the vintage designs of the chronograph.
